I Am Still Alive...

It's been way too long since I've posted anything. Our computer is seriously messed up and it takes way too many steps to get it hooked up and working right so I just haven't wanted to take the time to do it. I have also in the last couple of months re-dedicated myself to serious exercise. That's great, but now I'm sweating during the time I used to find myself blogging. Anyway, all is well. Christmas came and went (thank goodness), and we DID get a new member of the family. Santa came through for Dylan and brought him a 12 week old golden retriever that he named, Rex. Now, I'm not an animal person at all. This was a huge sacrifice for me, and yes he is an OUTSIDE only doggy, but he is starting to grow on me. He is actually pretty cute. I just don't want him to grow up. Puppies are so much cuter than full grown dogs! Abbie, on the other hand, got (among other things) her coveted cupcake maker. She loves that thing. Too bad the cupcakes taste so bad she can't even swallow them down! Scott couldn't of cared less about opening presents. But, as soon as it was opened he would do his famous "Ohhhhhhhh" and get all excited. He has also learned pretty quickly how to say, "No Doggy!" It was a great time and now I'm just so glad we are in boring January without 50 million things to do. It's so nice to be bored! Anyway, that is my quick update. I will post pictures just as soon as I'm not too lazy to do it. Happy January to everyone!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't posted since first of December. I finally came through today. So a dog huh? Yeah....good luck with that. It should be great for the kids, and golden retrievers are one of the best dogs. Hope you guys had a good new years as well. Girl scout cookies sell soon...I'll be in touch then, ha ha.

I am so glad you guys got a dog! I have 2 dogs but I also grew up with my mom being a vet so we had lots of animals. Remember it gets really cold outside and they can freeze to death in our freezing temperatures.....maybe you can kennel train him at night so he can at least be warm inside? Let me know if you need any housebreaking/dog training tips! I would be glad to help.
