Every year, the second grade classes put on a Grandparent program. The parent are invited to attend the dress rehearsal performance. It is a way cute program with singing and serious dancing. The kids are coupled up and dance to the Macarena, Alley Cat, Bunny Hop, the Mexican Hat Dance, some square dancing, and best of all-the waltz. During the singing part of the program, Abbie did some serious booty shaking to the song "Ain't She Sweet".
Abbie and her partner did great waltzing. I have no idea how the teachers talk the kids into dancing with eachother. I would've hated to do it when I was a kid, but Abbie seemed to really enjoy it, and it was fun for us to watch!
