So I have about a million pictures to post and I was actually going to do it right now, but it's not going to happen! Jesse just informed me that he didn't put the Kodak software on the computer because he didn't want it to eat up too much memory. What? Now what am I going to do? He had some solution, but it doesn't help me right this minute. So...
I thought I would explore something that has been on my mind. Neon. Have you noticed it is everywhere!? Teenagers are in love with the neon. Can I just say I hate it with all my heart! This may seem hypocritical since I was once a neon addict. Yes, I have recovered. When I was in the 6th grade (Angela, you will probably remember this) I wore head to toe neon. The brighter the better. My most prized neon item was a pair of hot, hot, hot, hot pink tennis shoes. I loved those things and babied them like it was nobody's business. I remember one recess there were rain puddles all over the playground and I was down right sick with the idea of my shoes getting spotted or dulled in any way. I was SO careful, but my overly clean mom washed them any way, and the neon faded. I was just ruined. This was a major blow to my fashionista sensibilites. Pretty soon I ditched the neon for something even more hideous, and never really thought about it again. Until now. I have noticed that teenagers now look like the 80's threw up all over them. Now, I'm a HUGE fan of the 80's. Sixteen Candles is either my favorite or 2nd favorite movie ever, and if you notice my play list it's full of 80's classics. But, is neon the pick of the litter when it comes to 80's nostalgia? No, not at all. I guess the moral of my rant, is if you remember neon being AWESOME 20 years ago, it probably isn't that awesome to you any more.

I also hate neon, but I think that I overdosed on it in the 6th grade. That and those color changing t-shirts.
I too don't like neon! Or girl pants on boys.
Tell Jesse we want to see photos! j/k Let's try and plan a lunch date soon.
