1. I am now officially released from my calling as primary teacher to the 6-7 year olds. YAY! I am so excited! I have been in for 2 and a half years and I am REALLY ready for a break. Apparently, I'm not totally out of the woods because they are going to call me to be a helper with activity days. She said they would give me a few weeks off before they do that-THANK YOU!
2. I have my ultrasound in a week and will then be able to confirm the baby is a girl.
3. I have a new favorite girl name. My old favorite was Piper, but Jesse HATED it, and I decided it sounded awful with our last name. So my new favorite is Keira. We'll see if that sticks.
4. There's a really good show on VH1 called "The OCD Project". I am fascinated by it because I have had bouts with OCD in my life. Nothing that has totally taken over my life, but if I told you details, you would think I am crazy. Its especially interesting because this one teenage boy is so afraid that he will become "evil" that he has all these rituals to make sure he will stay normal. They were filming him one day while he was reading a book that looked exactly like Stand A Little Taller. No wonder he's afraid of being evil-he's a Mormon.
5. I love, love, love summer vacation. I actually have a tan and the kids are sleeping in to at least 9 every morning. It's the life, I dread the end of August to come around.
6. Last but not least, Jesse did so well his first quarter of culinary school that he is on the Dean's List. I am so proud of him, he really can do anything. So much for any doubters out there that thought he couldn't handle it all! He is AMAZING!

Congratulations Jesse!!! That is so awesome. We are glad you are having a good summer. I love your current name choice, can't wait to find out what the ultrasound reveals.
