All Is Well

This morning I went in for my D&C. (Jesse keeps calling it the Doctrine Covenants surgery.) I was pretty nervous because I have never had any surgery, and have never been put under by anesthesia in my life. I just kept saying that I hoped I would wake up! Well, I did, sort of. I have been so tired all day and have just slept. The good news is I haven't had any pain at all! (Knock on wood). The even better news is that my stomach is no longer full of all the fluids, so I feel like I have a flat stomach again. So nice. I was having a really hard time wrapping my head around the idea of being pregnant again, and now I think it was a blessing in disguise. It's like my brain didn't allow me to start getting attached to the idea, so now dealing with all this has been relatively easy. I may feel different once January rolls around, but right now all is well!
