It's What Fun Is!!!

I have to start this post off by making a confession. Dylan is 7, Abbie is 5, and we have never taken them to Lagoon. I know, I feel awful, I'm practically unfit to be a mother. So, last Saturday we went to Lagoon for our last hurrah before school started. The kids had a blast, and so did Jesse and I. I was so impressed by them. When I was their age, I was the world's biggest chicken. I wouldn't go on anything and if I did, I cried the whole ride. I know, I was a real ball of fire! My kids, however, were awesome! They went on everything they were tall enough to ride, including the white roller coaster. What? Are they actually from my gene pool? Here's just another way they are just like Jesse. I do have the feeling Scott will be more my speed-a total pansy! That's my boy! Here's some pictures of our fun day:

Scott wondering where the heck we are.
Jesse, Dylan, and Abbie on the Tidal Wave. This was their favorite ride.
Jesse is my 4th child. I think the games are such a waste of money and don't bother to play them. Well, Jesse LOVES the games, and did waste a bunch of money on them. He was a mad man at the pitching games and the spill the milk game.
This is the fam right before the last ride of the night. Scott was a trooper and had just fallen asleep at 10:00 PM. I think the thumbs up says it all.

If I never take my kids to Lagoon, it will be too soon. It sounds like such a pain. You are a total sport and I'm glad that everyone (especially Jesse) had fun.

I am as bad at taking kids to Lagoon as I am at throwing birthday parties. I actually paid Marshall (aka former husband) to take Brooklyn and her cousin this year. Spend the dough but none of the stress...that's the way I rock...Yeah for the pansies!

I am jealous that you took your kids to Lagoon!! I love it there- or did when I was younger anyway. I have been dying to take Riley & Abby, but I just can't get over the fact that it will be crowded. Was it bad when you went? My kids are counting the days until they get to ride "Wicked"- ya right. As if that will really happen!
