I never thought scouting would be a big part of my life, but having a boy that is REALLY into it, has made it a big deal in our house. Last night was the annual blue and gold banquet. Dylan earned some extra awards: a gold arrow point and two silver arrow point. He was excited and we were equally as proud!

There was a cake decorating contest where the boys had to make a cake with their dads only. Now, Jesse was way into this (I haven't mentioned that he has transferred schools and is majoring in culinary arts, it is his passion. More on that later). They made an impressive cake that won the "Most Professional" award. They were stoked!

WAY TO GO DYLAN!
You should be very proud.
Yay Dylan - youi little scout you! I always thought it would be fun to be a cub scout leader. Not bad on the cake, either.
How fun!! I can't wait for Riley to be in cub scouts. You are going to have to teach me what all the arrown and thingy-ma-bobbers are for. Nice cake!!
Mark is waaayyy into it to. He's on an arrow point marathon lately, it's nuts!
Are you serious about your husband and culinary arts? I think that's awesome for you, I still remember teaching you how to cook a hamburger in a frying pan at Branbury Park!
Wow, nice cake, and great on the extra scouting awards Dylan. Way to go!
I personally think the culinary school is great. Jesse just needs to finish it. I told him he could hire me when he is all set up and ready to go with his business. :)
Great job Dylan. The cake looks awesome!
