Tonight after shopping at Walmart for Scottie's birthday presents, I was loading everything in the car when I noticed a piece of paper on my windshield. I read the paper and it was from a lady who watched some "young girl" back up and hit my car and then take off. What? People are seriously that dishonest? I was feeling kinda annoyed but at the same time was grateful to the woman who left her name and number to help us if she could. When Jesse got home he was way more ticked at the white paint scratch on the back of the car. So now he is at the police station reporting it. I have to say, when I was 16, I had a similiar incident parking ata grocery store. I barely bumped the car next to me and did have a nano second thinking maybe I should just take off. I didn't and wrote a note and put my phone number on it. I was so scared my parent's would be mad, but when the man called he said there was no damage and actually thanked me for my honesty. I think the fact that I had just left a stake baptism where I had given a talk on the Holy Ghost probably helped me to remember to choose the right. Too bad the "young girl" didn't do the same.Friday, February 5, 2010

That sucks! But I have to tell you I always see this. For some reason the hit and runs are always at Walmart. I hope you got the plate number on the other vehicle. Good Luck!
What a good story Kriss. You are such a good person and always have been. I agree. Too bad that "young lady" didn't have a little more integrity. Character is a hard thing to come by these days it seems. Glad to know someone who has a lot. Hope you are doing well. Talk to ya later.
I remember doing the same thing (leaving the note) I hope you find the guilty person!
