No More Pencils, No More Books, No More Teacher's Dirty Looks

Yes, I am 31 and not technically "in" school, but having kids in elementary pretty much qualifies me as a student. And let me tell you, I AM SO SICK OF SCHOOL! You'd think I was 18 and suffering with an extreme case of senioritis. Instead, I am suffering with 3rd grade-itis and 1st grade-itis. I think I am feeling so negative because of the switch to traditional school from year round. I LOVE year round, all those little breaks throughout the year really helps to keep me and the kids motivated. Now I am dragging myself up to get them there on time, dragging myself to have them read and do their homework, dragging myself to be excited about all the projects/reports. I am so done. I believe we have 2 and half weeks left, YAY! I cannot wait. I just keep wondering when the teachers are going to slack off and stop giving homework? That will be an equally happy day!
