Today when I was picking Dylan up from school, the funniest thing happened. He opened the door to the car and this girl, from his class, came running up and hugged him. She then yelled, "Don't leave Dylan, I love you!!!!" He just laughed (while secretly totally enjoying it-he likes being a ladies man). When we started the drive home, he was like, "Can you believe she said that in front of you, mom?" Then I realized, no, I can't believe that. I then told him when I was in 1st grade I was the one being chased by the boys, not the other way around. (I had a good run from 3rd to 5th grade with the boys, then a complete dry spell from 6th grade to college.) I guess it is a whole new world and the girls are taking charge!

Holy cow. The day that happens to me, I might freak out. He's too cute though, you really can't blame her.
