Jesse, Jesse, He's our Man

Today is Father's Day-YA!!! Fathers are awesome! I seem to become more and more like mine with each passing day. (That explains why I'm so weird!) Anyway, today I celebrated the dude who is not my father, but the father to my kids. He is awesome, he is cute, he is Jesse. Here are some reasons why he rocks our house:

1. He works his butt off. He leaves for work at 5:30 AM and doesn't get home until 8:00 PM. He does this everyday
and wouldn't never think twice about working hard to support his family, it is what he does to keep our family going.

2. He is hilarious. Although a lot of people don't understand his sense of humor, I do and I love it! Yes it might be a little off beat, but that is what I love about it.

3. He is awesome with the kids. He loves to wrestle with them, play catch, play wii or do whatever the heck they feel like at the moment. He has even been known to have a few somewhat girly "tea parties" with Abbie.

4. He would do anything for us. That's it, we are his top priority no matter what.

5. He likes really weird tv shows. I don't know why I find this so endearing but I do. He absolutely loves to watch Walker Texas Ranger ( I know so white trash), and has no problem telling everyone he knows what a great show it is. Some people might be embarassed of this, but not him, he has no shame.

6. He can do anything. It is actually really frustrating for someone like me who has virtually no talents besides ironing, but he really can do anything and do it well. He hates it when I say that, but it is true, he is multi talented.

7. He is fun to complain to/with. I hate it when people are so optimistic that they won't ever say anything negative about anything or anyone. It is so phony to me. I always know that he is going to be there and chime in when I'm feeling the need to vent about something.

8. He is cute. What am I dumb? Of coarse he is. When I was a teenager my mom always said I had to marry someone cute so we'd have cute kids. Well, I totally took care of that in a big way!

9. He follows the commandments. I know that is kind of cheesy and slightly seminary of me, but I really do appreciate that he has the same goals as me and I don't have to worry about him going nuts one day and doing something really dumb.

10. He adds so much fun to our lives and I can't imagine life without him.

Okay now I am done. I am normally not a person that likes to be mushy, but since all I got him was a card and the second season of Walker Texas Ranger I thought I should take a moment and do this somewhat mushy post.

Wow. I don't think I saw that much mush out of you in the whole 2 years we lived together! He must be great!
