I have been gone for awhile! It is the busy end of the school year, end of the baseball season, etc., etc. Dylan had his 1st grade program last week where he was an awesome owl. Then his baseball team ended up taking 3rd in their league. He was pretty pumped about both of these events. Then today was his awards assembly at school. He got the Presidential Fitness Award, 100% Accelerated Reader, and his Golden Falcon award. I was proud and hope with all my might he will still be interested in doing well even when he's older. Poor Abbie has to go to preschool through the end of June, so no news as to her end of the year festivities. She does have her dance recital this Saturday which I think I get more excited for than she does.
On another note, today after school we went to the dreaded Kmart. Let me just say I hate Kmart, I much prefer to go to Target but Kmart is literally 2 seconds away so I find myself there more than I would like. Today we went for the very necessary diapers. The place was packed (very unusual for Kmart) and I couldn't figure out what was going on. I walked in and some man told me I had to sign papers to shop there. What? Then I found out they were shooting High School Musical the reality show there. I was kinda annoyed because I had to fill out and sign a waiver for me and the 3 kids, then we all had to get our picture taken before we could go in. All I wanted was some dang diapers. Then to top it all off they had all their millions of equipment where the carts usually are. I was lugging around my 25 pound baby wondering why in heaven's name I went to Kmart. I must of looked pretty annoyed because a lady there asked me if I was finding everything all right to which I responded "Ya, except for the carts". She made a lady next to her go fetch me one and I was feeling much better. On the bright side, we were definitely in the background while they were shooting. Look for me when it comes on tv, I'm the one with the recently highlighted hair looking very irritated.

Awesome. I'm always so annoyed by that kind of stuff, I've got no patience for it at all. Grrrrrrr.
