Calling All Sexy People

I need help-in a big way. I have found myself in a fashion slump. This really upsets me cause fashion was once my thang. I still dig it, but I'm not digging any stores I go to. I know I'm too old for the Junior's section, but feel a little young in the Misses sections. One time I was at Kohl's in the Misses, and Dylan was like, "mom, this isn't your section, it looks like Grandma clothes!" That's the problem in a nutshell. Once upon a time I only shopped at Nordstrom and Express. Now that mom and dad aren't buying my clothes, I'm feeling too cheap for those stores. Nikkie and I were talking that we need to find a store with a good "crossover" section. Ya know, not too young, not too old. I must say I don't like digging for clothes, so TJ Maxx and Ross don't work for me either. PLEASE leave me a comment and tell me your favorite store-maybe it will help me out of my slump!

Oh man, when I'm not pregnant, most of my wardrobe comes from the Banana Republic outlet (because I'm WAY too cheap for the regular store) and Target. Come to think of it, most of my pregnant wardrobe comes from Target too. You should check out Forever 21 (Gateway) or Gadzooks (Fashion Place mall). Same line of clothes, different store name. They have fun stuff that's super cheap and I shop there a lot. Go to Forever21.com

I like Target's Junior section sometimes. I have to get like a size 15 but ya know I hear you on the old lady clothes. I love Ross and really they are pretty organized so I don't dig too much. I find the type of clothes I'm looking for (i.e. skirts, pants,) and then the size and then grab grab, try on and select. Just a note on the first comment, I love forever 21 too and there used to be an outlet at the VF fatory stores or whatever it's called these days but I don't know if it is still there. Good luck!

I hear ya on the old lady clothes. I used to HATE Ross more than anything, but you can usually find what you're after since they are categorized effeciently. They are really cheap too. I love Khol's, but just go there when there is a sale.

I second your post-I'm glad there are some good comments so far. I definitely need to take a trip to the outlets in Park City. Fall is going to be here before I know it and I will have to go jeans shopping (shudder) since I only own one pair that fits me. Yikes!
