Flag Football

Dylan just completed his first season at Flag Football. He isn't old enough to play tackle football so this is a good way to introduce the kids to the game before he gets old enough to tackle. I wondered how he would dig flag football because even though he is athletic, he isn't overly aggressive. I didn't have to wonder long, because he LOVED it! He was an awesome running back. I had no idea he could run so fast! He made quite a few touchdowns and had an interception. It was fun watching him learn the game. His team was undefeated, so that made it even more fun for him. I am a loser mom that kept forgetting to take her camera to the games, but at least I got one of him and his trophy. He is somewhat annoyed it doesn't have a big 1ST PLACE on it, but hey, what can you do? He now spends his nights drawing plays on his white board and telling us where we need to line up. Of course, he's always the one that gets the ball!

It's funny how important the trophy is! Emma covets Mark's t-ball trophy from last year.

So cute how he draws up plays. What position does he have you all play?

That is so fun! I had no idea that he was playing flag football. Riley really wants to do that, so I will need to get some info from you.
