I've Learned My Lesson, Again
I'm in pain and I just need to complain for a second. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I love bubble gum. It makes me happy. Chewing on those tiny grains of sugar somehow releases my stress. I have had this love for the chewy stuff since I was little. I will take any kind of gum, but my favorites are RainBlo's gumballs and the pink Dubble Bubble. I have had 2 root canals due to this passion so I've really tried to cut back. I liken my addiction to that of a smoker. They know its bad for them, but at the moment it feels oh so good. This last Thursday I was in a moment of weakness at Target and bought a bag of Super Bubble. It tasted so good (it's been awhile). The problem is that I have since been dealing with a toothache of enormous proportions. The dull, relentless pain tells me that, yes, it's time for another root canal. I am so mad at myself for putting my poor mouth through this AGAIN! Good news is that my root canal man is awesome!!!! Going through that procedure is nothing compared to the stupid toothache. Bad news is that we have NO dental insurance, so here's to about $800 down the drain. You'll be proud to know that I threw the rest of my bubble gum away and have decided to go cold turkey. It won't be easy, but my mouth and Jesse's wallet will thank me.

I hear ya! I'm really having to watch my candy habbits lately because I don't want a nightmare visit to the dentist.
Oh man, doesn't the sugar free kind work for you? I love gum too, I understand you.
I would rather go for my annual visit to the gyno than go to the dentist. For some reason I feel I can't swallow or breathe and honestly believe I am going to gag to death. Sorry you have to go through all that pain...again!
I really don't know if you will be Kriss without a BIG piece of gum in your mouth!
Sorry about the root canal, no fun, and the $800 is especially no fun!
