Yucky Head
I need your help! Abbie has long been suffering from brutal eczema. Her feet are usually the bad spot and she has been known to scratch them until they bleed. One time she actually got a staph infection on her big toe that was horrible! Right now, her feet are under control. Her head is a whole other story. She has never had any dry scalp issues before, but it is driving her and me crazy right now. I've bought some shampoo from Cookie Cutters that is for eczema head, but it hasn't helped at all. I've bought the yucky smelling stuff from the store that hasn't helped either. Help! Does anyone know of some magical shampoo that can eliminate her problem? (Laura, I know you must know something). We are desperate for her head to stop itching and flaking!

i wish i knew more. our doctor has told us to put the steroid cream on her scalp, but i've never actually done it. i have some clean and clear shampoo from the dermatologist for her, but it doesn't seem to help. usually i just use dandruff shampoo. she kinda smells like a dog as a result, but it works better than anything else. good luck. i feel your pain.
