Back in January, Dylan decided he wanted to have a sleepover for his birthday party. I was VERY reluctant to have one, but decided he deserved it and I could suck it up for just one night of terror. We invited only 5 kids, Dylan and Abbie made it 7 in all. I think that was a good amount, not too many, not too few. They seemed to have tons of fun, but let me say, boys ARE just as dramatic as girls. I didn't know this cause when they play on their own they get along great, but get together a group of 8-10 year old boys and you have a regular soap opera on your hands. It was an eye opener. In between the bouts of drama we played a bunch of games. Have you ever seen the show Minute To Win It? Its hilarious. The stupidest games you can think of are so entertaining. They had a ball playing and then went out in the dark and played kick the can. Kind of old fashioned, I know, but they really dig that game. They ended the night with "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel" and "America's Funniest Home Vidoes". (Such a dumb show, but watching someone get hit in the crotch over and over again is pure joy to boys.) All in all, it was a really fun party and now Abbie has already requested a sleepover in September. I've got 5 months to warm up to that idea!

What a brave mom you are!
What I love it the pack of wipes on the table because you are freaking out in advance of what all those greasy fingers might do to your house!
