6 Candles!

On September 15, it was my baby girl's 6th birthday! I can't believe how fast time flies, but most of all I can't believe how much she looks like a 6 year old me! It is actually kinda freaky sometimes. I feel like I'm looking in the mirror from 24 years ago. She had an awesome day. She had a pool party the Saturday before her day with cousins and friends. She got the Hannah Montana shirt from my niece which totally made her day. I am a mean mom that won't buy clothes or shoes with cartoon or Disney characters on them. Of course, she couldn't wait to get the shirt on so she has it in the above picture. I just have to pretend like it is cute, even though I'm secretly cursing my sister's name for buying such an item!
Abbie is an absolute riot! She is so much fun, she cracks me up a million times a day. Here are my 6 favorite things about my 6 year old:
1. She has a total heart of gold. She loves to take care of people and feels horrible if someone is sad or hurt.
2. She is such a girly girl. I love it! I always had fear I would give birth to a tomboy, but she is the total opposite!
3. She is always "in character" or putting on a show. She loves to sing and is always doing it. She even sings at the top of her lungs in public restrooms.
4. She is a leader. I never have had this trait and I really admire it in others. She is someone that will always be in the lead.
5. She is so totally clumsy. It is actually sad, but funny at the same time. People that don't know her get concerned when she constantly falls down, but I'm totally immune to it. Half of the time I don't even realize it because she's doing it all the time!
6. She has the loudest laugh ever known to man. She laughs a lot, and it could probably break the sound barrier! She has no concept of quiet laughter, she is just a ball full of laughs and I can't imagine her any other way!
