Our computer is giving us grief, that's why I've been away for so long. (Not that any one really cares.) It is working again at the moment, but now my camera/software is giving me fits! So, instead of posting pictures, I just get to write. Here are some things that are on my mind:
My Dad turned 72 the other day. Wow! He is getting old! (I can't post a picture of him, so just imagine someone that resembles Sean Connery). He is a workaholic. He never quits! His favorite thing to do is WORK. He is also one of the most service oriented person I know. He has done so much in his life to help other people, and he prefers to do it without ANYONE knowing. I think that is the best way to serve! As I grow older I can't believe how much our weird quirks are the same. I go on and on about certain things and all my mom can say is, "you're just like your dad and his dad!" Total loners is the best way to describe us, but I totally get him now! He recently found out he has prostate cancer. but they found it in the very earliest of stages so all should be well. Even though I would never tell him this to his face-I really look up to him and hope to someday be just one tenth as cool as he is.
Abbie had a pow wow at school on Monday. Her Indian name was Sunflower. She made a cute vest and head dress, but her teacher said she wouldn't wear it. When I asked her why, she said it was too itchy. She thinks everything is too itchy!
Bingham lost the championship game (sniff, sniff). I was so bummed. They were winning the WHOLE time and then lost it the last couple of minutes. So sad. Good ol' #1 played like a champ, he shouls have nothing to regret!
Prayers are heard and answered. I have been taught this lesson several times in my life, but for some reason I'm always astounded by it. Heavenly Father really is in the details of our life and He will help us in the most unexpected ways! Just thought I would share...

Hey Kriss! I can totally relate to what you said about your Dad! He is my hero. My Dad had prostate cancer too. He went through radiation treatment...he's been clear for over 3 yrs! Anyway, we need to get together sometime!!
Your dad was always so kind to me, even in his quite way. It is so neat that he is always quietly serving - such a good example. He's still working!? Wow, that's the way to stay young they say! My grandpa's still working too. They'll probably work for another 20 years.
