Abbie: "Obama's gonna destroy our country!!!!!"
Kriss: "What? Who told you that?"
Abbie: "Somebody at school!"
She was dead serious and did not understand why I started cracking up. Love the Kindergartners talking politics. It reminds me of a conversation I had with my former best friend when we were about 8. We were having a sleep over at her house when I started talking about Gov. Bangerter. I went on and on and on about how crappy he was and I couldn't believe he won the election. (Yes, I was also listening very closely to my parents.) We talked for awhile and my friend who was blonde and had SEVERAL blonde moments says, "I don't know anything about that Real Estate!" Even at 7 or 8, I was old enough to laugh my butt off at her. Maybe that's why we're former best friends!
